Amphenol, a manufacturer of electrical connectors, reported Wednesday Q4 net profit of $0.75 per share, up from $0.63 per share in the prior year period and came in higher than the $0.72 per share Street estimate provided by Capital IQ.
Net sales were $1.65 billion, up from $1.43 billion reported for the same period last year and higher than the $1.61 billion Street estimate.
For Q1, the company expects earnings to range from $0.65 to $0.67 per share on sales of between $1.50 billion to $1.54 billion. The Street consensus calls for earnings of $0.68 per share on revenues of $1.56 billion.
For 2017, the company expects earnings to range from $2.84 to $2.92 per share on revenues of $6.34 billion to $6.50 billion. The Street consensus calls for earnings of $2.70 per share o revenues of $6.25 billion.
